Spent about three hours with the jetwash blasting all the crap off the chassis and washing it, only to realise I'm on the farm tomorrow so it was a wasted effort.
Not sure where Funrovers spot is, I can't quite place it, but I've always found the parking spot at Yeadon Cemetery a good spot. If it's any better than the cemetery I'd quite like to know too |

Hi guys, it was here: http://tinyurl.com/leedsbradford
From what I can remember, the view used to be a lot better, those two large hangers now obscure it somewhat. It's right off Bayton Lane, take your Landy, you'll need and some yobbos have been tearing the place up with their offroaders. There are police notices about not using the area to off road - but as long as I remember plane spotters have gone here with their radios and such Here's the kind of views you can expect: Click image to enlarge Editor of FunRover - One blog. Made myself a top hat to stop the snow and water getting in to the air intake for the cabin heating. It works a treat.
Then I made a rad muff as well! Just wish I could work out how to attach a picture so that you can see it? [/img] Forgot to write: Corr It's yonks since I was up on that hill above the airport! Last edited by discoch1 on 14th Dec 2010 3:57pm. Edited 1 time in total |

ASTA (my Puma's name) was completely white with salt, washed it with a sponge and warm soapy water, rinsed afterwards with cold water from a garden hose: the result was a Defender with an armor of ice.
The temperature was minus 6.4 degrees Celsius. Puma 90 MY 2010 (sold 2017) Defender 110 MY 2001 http://www.youtube.com/bjartin |

Finally got around to fitting the scangauge
Click image to enlarge didn't like it there so moved sat nav over a bit and think it looks better here Click image to enlarge had an old phone mount lying in the garage so after a little cutting and moulding fitted supplied velcro fasteners and attached scangauge and was delighted to see how securely it fitted to the window mount. Went for a drive over bumpy roads and through potholes, scangauge didn't move, vibrate or fall off. Result Click image to enlarge |

Had the doorlocks and ignition barrel swapped out under warranty! Ignition barrel was internally falling to pieces! Bill would have been a few pence short of £312!!! No more wrestling with the key! Even cleaned it for me too! Refused to road test it due to sticky out wheels, never mind it kept an 'oily rag' from driving it!!! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
