I use the "T" for the fuel line and the thermostatic valve 19873A: Click image to enlarge because have a better efficiency (no losses) when the heater is switched off than the "in-line solution (my first idea): Click image to enlarge. The connections for the Puma is: Here same draws Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge On the Defender, I chosen to install the heater using the e-ntreq solution Click image to enlarge Last, 7 days Timer also: Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition IID Pro MV License |

You need the standard Webasto THERMO TOP C general installation kit AND the back valve (must buy separately, ca 30,00€).
In total my costs was (installation by me!!!) Webasto main unit (new) 180,00€ (by friend) Standard installation kit (complete o wiring harness, water pipes, exhaust and more) 135,00€ (ebay) 7 Day Timer 85,00€ (eBay) entreq plate and back valve 180,00€ Total = 580,00€, NOT BAD!!!!! Teeing into the fuel line won't work as the solenoid pump will not have enough suction to pull the fuel up the landrover fuel pipe. Webasto and Eberspacher fuel pumps need to use the supplied suction pipe which is approx 2mm Id bore. Been there done that and learnt the hard way easiest option is a separate tank it only needs to be a few litres as they use next to no fuel.

Could you make same photos especially for the burner position (seems on the right, on the internal part of the Defender frame) and where the webasto water pipes are connected (closer the cabin heater valve? [closer to the brake servo]). And a photos where the small pipes (the pipe that came from the car radiator) is connected to the engine expansion tank. Thank you Daniele Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition IID Pro MV License |

Your installation is pretty cool I must say - but why didn't you just tap into the main fuel tank? |

Didn't want to drill the main tank and possibly cause problems when in the middle of nowhere And it's easier for me to just knock up an alloy tank than drop the main tank to fit the Eberspacher pickup pipe.

yeah that's a worry of mine too. Is the 2 mil pipe ok to cope with a feed from an auxilliary tank? I know your tank is in the load bay ie outside the vehicle, do you (or anyone else for that matter) have any ideas of where to put it in a 90 if the heater unit is under the bonnet? I dont want to put mine under the vehicle, too vulnerable for what I do.

The 2mm pipe is fine, we tried it with 6mm and it wouldn't work. If I was going to fit one to a 90 I would make a tank to fit under the drivers wing top and hinge the plastic vent on top for the filler.
