Part 1: Poland, Ukraine, Russia
Day 1. Crossing from Poland to Ukraine. The border crossing took us almost five hours. As you see, we were two. The other car is HZJ78 (for one month I had the company, till Kirgistan, from where I was on my own). Click image to enlarge While travelling in the company we have always camped wild. An hour before a sunset we were spending scouting for a good spot. Here at a forest clearing in the eastern Ukraine. Click image to enlarge Welcome to Russia. Click image to enlarge First camping in Russia. Down to southern Kazakstan we did as much distance a day as possible. It took us six days to reach Kazakchstan (around 3500 km).
