Rog
I gave it a good rub down with painters thinners first off. Then gave a good coat of plastic primer Waited until dry and coated with lots of colour spray. Left that dry and a few good coats of lacquer. I'm not sure how long it will last but it looks good for the time being. I don't think it will flex much taking it on and off so hopefully will last a while or at least until i lose it. |

Installed my Land Rover Series 1 Club sticker onto the Heritage windscreen. Looks far more at home there than it did on the Peugeot!

Drove down to anglsea stayed the night and brought my parents caravan home for them. Normally I use the wife's disco but she needed it for work so took the 90.
It did grand but didn't have the same pull to keep at 50 -60 everywhere like the disco. But the van is a big heavy monster! Click image to enlarge 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car) 2009 - current .... 2005 zx10r |

I know the one your on about John. It wasn't too bad really, I hit it at 60 and came up it at 45 but overtook some hgvs near the top.
Unfortunately it did highlight a problem I've had for a while. My landy over boosts then goes into a safe mode, it did this half way up so I just dropped down to 3rd and let rip I suppose the disco transfer box didn't help with progress up the hill as any hill at 50 was a struggle in 5th as it couldn't pull it. 4th was fine for everything else though just noisy! I think my 90 has been remapped though as it really does fly but as said it does have a tendency to overboost under lots of load ie towing at speed or 80 plus solo. TBH I don't do that much of either and it accelerates like a rocket (for a defender anyway!) 2014 - current ..... 2003 defender td5 90 (my car) 2009 - current .... 2005 zx10r |

I believe they do just clip in Ian... Although I haven't tried mine yet as they are still black... Might have to nip out and try one later now you've asked... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al |

They do just clip in:
I ordered one with red writing for the 110 & green writing for the Heritage. However having seen the fully painted article I may just follow suit, but thought the words DIESEL ONLY may jog my memory. Pulled the RRC up to a diesel pump the other day & had to sheepishly slink off to the unleaded pump!
