personally i would adapt the steering guard

OK thanks for the feedback James, out with the angle grinder in the morning.
For a matter of interest, did your modified turret covers start off as the original ones modified? I was thinking about cutting a hole in them for the turrets tops to go through. |

I too had to 'modify' my SVX steering guard when I replaced my bumper with a HD one with recovery eyes as the steering guard would no longer fit. Out with the angle grinder after carefully masking up the cut-line. Trip to the powder coaters to get it redone afterwards and you would never know.
