anyone who has some pictures of the clips at the top? I want to run some cables behind the console to feed my phone/gps installed on top of it... puma 2.2 MY2013

Click image to enlarge Remove Torx Screws Click image to enlarge Pull back Console from the Top This may be enough to feed cables through, as I did wanting to pick up a live feed off the heated rear window for the installation of a 13 Pin Towing electrics. it is not necessary to remove knobs and switches and no need to unplug the pins. |

No, two Torx Screws that's it. The centre console does locate itself in a few positions these are designed to release and then relocate when re-fixed. Pull gently and evenly across the top of the Console... There are times when you just have to bite the bullet and get stuck in, no end of questions and answers will cover all the possible permutations and possibilities

Personally I'd recommend removing the HU first then the dash.
Otherwise you're much more likely to damage the HU, mounting or dash. Refitting I would do the reverse as you'll likely get trapped wires. |

It is just the 2 screws, I did mine this morning, slightly nervous but it came away pretty well. Replaced a few bulbs that had blown (that was more difficult, fiddly things )
