Finally got round to finishing off the DRLs...
Click image to enlarge I'm pretty pleased with them, even if I do say so myself! They are very slim surface mount model from Hella, and to my eyes look like they were "meant to be there". At only 11mm depth the rubber end caps would come out further (if I had any fitted that is). Here's the URL if anyone's interested... http://www.safetydaylights.com/nz/the-comp...mount.html Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

I might go the whole hog and pop the door tops off. Youngest son loves doing the school run and insists on climbing out the back when we park up outside school. |

Improvised a shelter to keep myself and the pooches out of the direct sun today, quite saggy but it done the trick. Apparently 25°c today and forecast for 27° tomorrow which is just toooooooo hot for me. Luckily there is a nice wee clean running burn near to where the boys get their exercise, I'll maybe join them in for a dip tomorrow ☀️

After running about the Hereford countryside for a couple of hours this morning getting various bits for a farmer mate of mine I undertook to wash all the crud out of the fins on the radiator. There's a few years of Salisbury Plain, Welsh mud plus a lot of Hereford mud that has been lodged in there for far too long, there must have only been a third of the rad with any airflow. Two and a half hours later with the hosepipe and airline you can see through all of it.
It's going to take longer to warm up in the winter now! |

Discovered I had a clearance issue with the slider plate whilst trying to hitch onto the ball hitch. Luckily a work colleague had a pin/ball combo to donate which has sorted the issue
