After doing some towing today in this heat I'm glad that I spent the time cleaning the radiator out yesterday, according to the Nanocom it never got above 94'C. Generally the reading would get into three figures on a normal day.
The only downside was that tonight when I dropped the trailer off I could hear a new sound, the damned thrust bearing has decided to come vocal. I suppose after 13 years and 178K miles it was bound to find its voice one day! |

Thanks - not as neat as yours though - I like those combined park lights/DRLs that you have fitted! |

Fitted a New Viscous fan - typically once I got home so hopefully tomorrow should see a marked improvement in my engine running temperatures tomorrow
The old one had goop leaking out of it so I highly suspect it was foo-bard. Nice of her to wait until the hottest part of the year to have cooling issues Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Took mine in for a service to Steve Hill in Bristol, couldn't ask for a better service, from initial call to meeting and then collecting the 90. Picked up on a couple of things which meant he'd really been checking and the best value from a customer perspective as well. All items that were for future reference and wouldn't cause an issue now.
Elected for Steve after reviewing the reports here, having recently moved to Wiltshire and then starting to work in Bristol I was lacking local information. After all the years commuting to London I needed to have the work done close to work. I'll definitely be continuing to let Steve look after the 90. _______________________________ Puma Defender 90 |

Click image to enlarge coolant hose going into the back of the block has badly split dumping it's contents. Had to get it flat-bedded home since quite a lot of stuff needs removing to get to the offending item. New clutch fitted and had a decat pipe fitted at the same time. The new clutch has made the gear changes much smoother and the decat seems to allow her to breath easier .. a good result 2008 Defender 110 XS SW - M57N2 / 6HP28X

10 hour round trip from London to North West and back and having just joined the landy family I have to confess I was impressed with her performance and the overall experience. Even my moms dog preferred the drive in the 110 compared to my other vehicles as she didn't complain.
