Well I finally got to drive the new truck for the first time and have to say it's amazing!!

Better than I ever thought possible and absolutely love the driving position, the visibility and I'm quite surprised at the power levels. Seems a lot perkier than the MY14 110 demo I drove at the dealership before pulling the trigger on the MY15.

Plus its not as noisy as I expected too although still going ahead with the soundproofing experiment Smile

The paint protection really sets off the silver nicely. Even shows up brilliantly on an overcast day

Also moved the spare to the roof as I've heard that the rear door hinges can warp in time especially with the heavy steel rim Wink

I should hopefully get it back from the sound proofer tomorrow Thumbs Up

Cheers

Ant mate!

Looks so great!

So pleased that all is good in the world of Indus Silver Defenders!

Great job... where is the spare wheel! I like that look at the back and am mulling where to put mine too... floor or side stowage in the rear?

Still WIP on mine here is sunny NSW... a bit to go but so pleased I have a great truck!

Keep the photos coming mate! Smile YOLO... You Only Live Once...

Ant, looks phantastic! The black wheels work very well, great combo and complements the black and silver theme nicely Thumbs Up

The back looks very neat without the wheel! Is it not making too much wind noise on the rack when driving?

And how's the glove box, fitted now? Curious to see how it looks.

She's a looker Ant Wink

... and my leather dash trims!

I think they really lift the interior, practical too!

And of course, I keep my 'YOLO' book on the shelf! Smile

Yolo book looks epic on that shelve, hardly any better place for a copy!

And very smart looking dash, I really like these leather trimmed add-ons.

jk - thanks my friend Smile

after some research I found the tyre is best at the rear of the rack for both aerodynamics (if you're concerned about fuel economy Thumbs Up ) and noise. And sorry I haven't had much time for the other installations yet Confused

Pete, holy crap you have upped the anti fine sir Bow down

Absolutely love it all mate! Very classy indeed. Just for the record because I don't mean to copy but I may or may not have a set of the nice headlights on the way also Whistle

Cheers,
Ant

Ant,

The LED 'Speakers' are great. I fitted the LED sidelights first and they really showed the 'yellow' of the standard lights.

I watched a 'youtube' vid to help me on my way with installing the 'Speakers'... love youtube!

Spent a bit of time sorting the alignment out, all is good now! BUT it's raining tonight so I will have to wait to see how they are on the road!

Looking forward to seeing your mods as they come along... Keep on ordering!

Cheers,

Pete Smile YOLO... You Only Live Once...

Thanks Ant, sounds like a good solution then Thumbs Up And looks nice too! Look forward to seeing the glove box whenever ready Wink

It's good to watch you guys adding those bits and pieces and seeing the outcome Very Happy Being in UK, I have to opt for spending my savings on sorting out security and corrosion and it depleted my budget for things that would change the looks of my truck. But will get there eventually.

Keep the pictures coming Very Happy

I get what you mean mate...

1: ALL UK spec Defenders should have a galvanised chassis!

2: ALL Defenders stolen in the UK should have the offenders shot!

It's SO nice in OZ not having to worry about either. Thumbs Up But there are of course other challenges here... Rolling Eyes (COPS totally transfixed on 'speed kills' fines and drivers here who TAILGATE!!! Evil or Very Mad YOLO... You Only Live Once...

Rolling with laughter I like the solution no. 2 as to the theft of Defenders...little extreme but I'm sure it would help if in place Very Happy
