Not in, but for.... Visited a local hardware store and bought the SS fixings required for installing the Labcraft Scenelight S17 later this week... You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Fitted a oztent foxwing and mantec manbo roof bars with Brendan at Overland 4x4 yesterday.
Nice to meet you Brendan thanks for the help and the cracking good deals. I could spend a small fortune at that unit of yours, infact I did good job the wife was with me or I probably would have spent even more. Just need to hire a crane now to lift this eezi awn roof tent into place Cheers Mark |

Today, installion of the Scenelight S17
Click image to enlarge Next week, full Dinitrol re-treatment by LEU in Basel who are proven masters at this. After that, two exciting engine reliability upgrades will be installed which will complement the already done PEL 500110. Then, the truck will be ready for a very hot summer with record high temps. Well, hope springs eternal. More detail when that is all done. Eric You never actually own a Defender. Eric - very nice - don't suppose you have any photos of the backof the light before fitting - I'm interested in where the cable comes out.
I was wondering if it would fit flush to the main back bar of my patriot rack but without having to drill a hole for the cable? |

Sorry should have been clearer - i have a tilt on the back with a double cab. Plan to run cable under rack and then break into the cab. Where to break into the cab will be my next question, closely followed with what connector to use
I was wondering if anyone had run a cable under the leading edge of the canopy and then into the cab via the bulkhead. |

ah ok
what about running wire down and underneath along chassis in in rubber gromit in fuse box under seat then under carpet to dash or right along chassis to engine bay and in through bulkhead to dash |
