Didn't think there was anything new in the photos - just used old ones to illustrate the text - it was the suggesttion that the 5 model lineup might only be three that caught my eye.

The DC100-esque mockup in the second article is a new one on me, and somewhat worrying, I had though (hoped?) that that shape had been abandoned. 2011 110 USW

Stop looking at the pictures
It's only the text that is possibly new. |

I agree that pics should be ignored. Magazine will pluck them out of anywhere to spice up the acrticle.
Interesting to hear SVR and SVX versions! Lots of mention of 'v6' option possible, hopefully a diesel v6 too! Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

It's auto express. Therefore it is a load of old with some daydreams they have come up with to fill column inches.

"hopefully a diesel v6"
Diesel? Short-sighted to buy a diesel methinks, sooner rather than later we won't be able to drive them in cities. I didn't take up the option of a run-out Defender 'cos so far there's been nothing special enough for me to waste my five hundred quid deposit on, still hoping but it's more likely that when all the fuss has died down I'll buy a Discovery Sport. But ONLY when it's available with something from the petrol Ingenium range of engines. Peter |

Shortsighted to buy a diesel?
I wonder how many petrol vs diesel cars were sold in the UK last year? No chance of diesels being kept out of cities, maybe older DPF free ones but still don't see that. I'll take a torquey, efficient diesel over a petrol any day, except in a performance car. Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

There are more & more diesels being sold in Aus. Can't ever see them being banned anywhere. What is the story on emissions, Petrol V Diesel? Pickles. |
