As a few people have shown an interest, I've taken a few photos of the install. All in all an easy job to do.

The template supplied negates the need to do any measuring.

Holes drilled and a dab of paint added to stop any corrosion.

Stub all bolted on. This was a test fit. I had to add an extra washer as it was all a bit too tight (5 washers used in total)

And all fitted up.

Overall I'm impressed with the lock. Easy to fit, good looking and pretty cheap.
One issue I've got is that although 4 spacer washers was too tight, using 5 washers leaves it all a bit loose. This results in a bit of rattling when you shut the rear door.

If you could use the wheel spaces fitted on the studs as standard then this wouldn't be an issue as you could just adjust the wheel spacers to tighten it up. However you'd need a whole load of washers to be able to use them. This will also be an issue when I get a spare to match the 285/75/16s fitted to the other wheels. My plan is to knock up a couple of discs of steel to slide in instead of the washers used to space the lock.

All in all a good product just let down by minor design issues. Tom

Thanks for that Tom. Need to get round to doing mine

Could you put a foam pad or rubber washer between the disc and wheel to stop the rattle?

Mike

Good idea that Mike. If you stuck a foam backing to the disc that should stop it all from rattling around. I'll give that a try if I can find some foam. Tom

Will it fit with a swing-away wheel carrier?

Depends on the carrier

I have the Nakatanenga carrier (NOT stainless) and I don't think it will fit (or very tight squeeze)

The bit the plate is welded to is where the holes for the bottom two bolts should be

I bought the lock to see if ti would fit Crying or Very sad

Certainly wouldn't fit on a Safari due to the head attachment.
