How many overpaid poncy footballers clout each other in full public view on TV then carry on playing football and TV/BBC companies still broadcast the match and all the next games the guilty player/teams. One rule for one another rule for another. Jumped ship to reliability - Mitsubishi L200

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to fit in on this Forum. I suspect I'm too effeminate. 2015 Urban Truck 90XS in Havana

Don't be nieve, bullying in the workplace is endemic in our society. Those who have risen to the top and have power are going to use that power and are going to regularly remind those without it where the power lies. No amount of liberal mithering is going to alter the status quo , after all how many generations of school kids have been reprimanded for bullying and yet the problem persists. I don't know what the answer is though tbh I'm not sure bullying is actually something that you can fix. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon. |

Why are so many people passive aggressive on this subject?
I should join in then and say almost as many as need to step out of the real world and into THEIR local school for an education |

or rather those standing around were too cowardly to intervene? There have been a number of cases in recent years where one well aimed or unfortunate punch has lead to a death: http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/462430/An...ok-Britain http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-25...games.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-29...party.html your views belong in a different century. |

As you have questioned by ability to teach I feel I have to answer your post. I do not set tests; tests are for primary and secondary schools. I do read and evaluate student thesis and disitations and help in the appraisals of final exams. I also have a record of most of my students receiving a first or 2.1 in their finals. I am sorry that you fail to see the point I was trying to make re ‘change org Clarkson’s petition’, and how you seem to have found the man culpable for his actions even though nothing has yet been proven. Perhaps I placed my facts in to simplistic a manner or failed to explain them sufficiently so you could understand what point I was making. But I do stand by my suggestion that out of the now 716,214 supporters who signed the petition a percentage did so out of supporting Clarkson’s right to speak as he feels fit and that many of the signees felt that political correctness is having an effect on free speech, I feel this is obvious by some of the comments posted on the petition pages. I was quite clear why I signed the petition which was due to liking Clarkson’s presenting style and made it also clear that I do not support violence in any form. If it is found that Clarkson did indeed strike his assistant producer over what we are now led to believe was a hot dinner, then the man is an idiot, however that does not deter me from the fact that I enjoy his presenting style, only that my opinion of the man himself will have changed. I also thought about the actions that caused Clarkson suspension and as of yesterday morning those actions were unclear, so I gave the man the benefit of the doubt. I do not wish in a doctrinaire fashion that you agree with my thoughts, my comments were my own opinions on the matter, clearly stated by the words ‘I feel’ and 'it is my opinion'. However I do feel slightly aggrieved that because my thoughts do not match your own you have taken it upon yourself to bring my career into question. I never questioned your ability to teach?
So where does the 'my point exactly' quote I wrote enter into it? Certainly not in the context it has been used above. I agree not all the facts have been layed bare. Nevertheless I hope I have not misunderstood......but more interesting than the subject matter itself perhaps?.... Whilst you have stated that 'benefit of doubt' played an important part in your decision to sign it, does his presenting style then outweigh the fact he is accused at this juncture of assaulting a work colleague and on the basis he has a good presenting style he should be reinstated? If it is discovered that JC did indeed strike his colleague in an outburst of thugginshness your signature still stands, or is there a means by which you can rescind it? If not do you still stand by the belief he should still then be reinstated? Can o' worms. I'll get my coat! No need to answer. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Thanks for replying, maybe I quoted you out of context and if so I apologise.
I know I keep harping on about the signatures and their reasons for signing the petition re freedom of speech and political correctness, nonetheless I can only go off facts as I see them and below is a sample of the many thousands of replies given on ' change org' about freedom of speech and Political correctness and why I believe many signed it. Someone asked for proof of what I have been trying too point out I think the samples below are indisputable . There are many thousands of similar comments both posted today and yesterday as you can see.
