The whole thing has been much ado about nothing.

Couldnt the pair just have sorted it like grown men and then shook hands and agree to disagree? What a debacle this is turning into.

And at the end of it all what will happen? More than likely jack sh!t...and Clarkson has gained more publicity. Remember there is no such thing as bad publicity.

Could Work !!!!!

Fans urge BBC to make Alan Partridge new host of Top Gear Rolling with laughter

Partridge - a man who knows his Rovers from his Mini Metros - seems a natural replacement, doesn't he? due to his "diversity of experience and his noted passion for cars".
Alan has a strong track record for broadcast presenting, from his relaxed professionalism with guests on BBC chat show Knowing Me Knowing You to his effortless banter on his talk shows at Radio Norwich.
He has good experience with motoring TV, after his brilliant work on 'Crash! Bang! Wallop! (What a video)'. His work as sports presenter on news programme The Day Today also shows off his ability to talk about and inform on a range of topics.
We can picture the scene now: "Britain has some of the safest roads in Europe. But this isn't Britain...This is der Autobahn!"
Go to change.org to sign the petition and bring Norfolk's most versatile broadcaster to Top Gear. Back of the net!

Used to watch Top Gear a lot, but then it was bought by a Commercial Channel, & a 1hr program went to 90mins, so as I couldn't put up with the ads, I don't watch it much now. BUT, when I do, Clarkeson ALWAYS makes the show,...and I predict that if He goes, Top Gear will not last

The saga keeps making the press here. Local newspaper reporting now that BBC asked May and Hammond to record the remaining 3 features of the current series without Clarkson, but they refused.
Cannot see the BBC crawl back now either, so guess that is the end of the current series then. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Reading several snippets in this morning’s papers revealed that Top Gear could apparently have continued to air following Jeremy Clarkson's suspension - but James May and Richard Hammond refused to film without him. It is reported that discussions were held between the BBC and the presenters about broadcasting the remaining episodes of the series using predominantly pre-recorded segments.
May and Hammond would then film the studio sections between the two of them, but the presenters are said to have refused to work without Clarkson.

Also in some of this morning’s papers is a story about Jeremy Clarkson attacking the BBC in a rant about his suspension from Top Gear.
The presenter revealed at a charity event at Camden's Roundhouse in London last night (March 19) that he expects the "f**king Censored " to sack him.

"The BBC have f**ked themselves," Clarkson said. "It was a great show and they f**ked it up."

Clarkson attended the event to auction a lap around the Top Gear track for £100,000,
He added: "I didn't foresee my sacking but I would like to do one last lap, so I'll go down to Surrey and I'll do one last lap of that track before the f**king Censored sack me.

"I'll be a bit tearful when I do it, but f**k it, let's do it."

That’s the way to do it if you want to keep your job Shocked For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

The license payer has paid for the programmes already produced.
I think we are entitled to se them.
What goes one between the Beeb and Clarkson is their own business.
It should not be at the expense of the viewers.
