And with the ability to replace a cylinder/s with a/an electric motor/s for the hybrid Defenders , the new vehicle will have electric motors driving the rear wheels so it will have lots of battery storage. |

I maybe wrong but isn't the freelander 2 (and by implication) the new jag and Disco Sport engine mounted longitudinally ?

"Land Rover Discovery Sport gets thumbs up from Thatcham for What Car? Safe Car of the Year"
http://fleetworld.co.uk/news/2015/Feb/Land...0434018447 "Land Rover Discovery Sport was the overall award winner, achieving the best overall Euro NCAP score of the year, and also topped the small off-road category. It features standard fit Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) across the range. With its seven seats, this vehicle offers great safety for all the family whilst an external pedestrian airbag – unique in its class and one of only two available in the world - offers additional protection to pedestrians, cyclists and other vulnerable road users on the outside." i wonder how many of these systems will make it onto the new Defender? Will AEB an external pedestrian airbag be compatible with a full on off-roader? |

I've really got NO idea, but these images don't look too "out of the way", do they? Pickles. |

Quite like the back end of the swb, but I hope the front end doesn't end up like that, could do with being more square
As for the g wagon, not a fan of that either, might just be the colour though, can see a few g-fans getting upset over that like folks did with the dc100 |

So...is this another artist's impression or this "hard" information?
I quite like these! 1970 Series 2A 88" |

My son will probably love it if those pictures show the next Defender. Myself? I'm not a great fan of the cartoon Cars!

The swb looks good there. Hopefully it'll be something like that.

This has to be an artist mockup right? Because it has the rear x-member, mudflaps etc of a current defender. And they've even included a GB number plate (likely from the current defender they started their manipulation on)
That being said this is my favourite so far! By quite a long way. A good mix of DC100 and current defender. Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Bit of a translation for you -
