Ok, well, thanks Andrew, but I though about something less invasive, and more "automotive". I have to ask to the dealer where the freelander's indicator is connected, and if is connected to the ECU.

The engine knows the air intake temperature, and a Scanguage can display this.
While you are moving it should be the same as the outside air temperature, although if you have been stationary with a hot engine there is little new air coming in and the reading rises, falling again once you move off. |
