Couplands
hello, your 90 is beautifull. I am interresting in the same roll cage of you. It's a safety devices 142? Are you happy with it? Have you ohters pictures? ( inside, chassis , front leg)? Thanks you. |

Thanks...
![]() Yes, its a Safety Devices 142 http://www.safetydevices.com/expedition/pr.../280/1784/ (like this, but no diagonal brace on the main hoop). It has a wire mesh guard fitted across the main hoop to stop all the kit flying forward. Sorry, I cant get pictures of the chassis fitment as its behind the wheel arches, but the diagram in the link above shows how they fit. Its a LR Special Vehicle build from new, they fitted it and I bought it when 2 years old. Had it for the last 12 years. If I was doing another (and I might) I would get the full external cage as I've had a few close shaves with trees when laning and the extra protection would be worth while. See photo.. ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge cheers simon |

Do the 255's on a standard height suspension 90 catch/rub at all?

Its all bolted to the chassis, I've removed the rear hoop and it was a tight fit..! I'm told its best to have roll cages professionally fitted as they are so strong that if you don't get them properly aligned it can bend the bodywork when you tighten the bolts up... ![]() cheers simon |
