Cheers, not a bad job apart from the gas soldering iron being a PITA
Those are a set of rear amber LED strobes lights I use when on the rallies (do recovery) there is also a set below the rear reverse and rear fog lights. I have a pair to go in the front grill as well. The aerials are for rallies as well. From L to R Mount for a 2m/70cms antenna (now moved to the front of the rack), Spare mount VHF High band MSA Low band MSA Low band A system/Red channel depending on the radio Also there is a CB antenna on the drivers side gutter. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Tested the LED rear work lights in the dark - I think I need to alter the angle slightly.

Tidied up the rear x-member with a coat of chassis black and fitted the bushes for the clutch pedal mod. I already had the spring but no plastic clip or bushes. I think the pedal feels better.
But without the plastic bushes for the spring to sit in you could see wear on spring. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

I had to get a jump start today, only used the car 2 days ago. The starter sounded fine for the first 2 seconds.. just but wouldn't turn on the 3rd attempt.. just hope it's the battery and nothing else

That can be a double-edged sword though, when you're up the road in a coffee shop, keys in pocket, find a comfy chair to settle down into and you unlock vehicle without realising it. Wasn't there a supposed urban myth/truth that the range could be extended by placing the fob near your open mouth when plipping it.... |

/\ Its not an urban Myth holding it to your head, it does work further away. Dont need your mouth open though.
Go and try it Defender puma dormobile camper |
