I see, that's what I use on mine. It's doing the trick.

Went to Lake Vyrnwy yesterday with the missus, did some lanes on the way back. Today went to BLRG meet at Cosford but got there late after having to swap to 110 from SIII after ignition problems.

Fitted the headlight wiring upgrade kit I bought a few weeks ago, real plug and play stuff even an electrical numpty like me can do it
Took about an hour and a half from opening the bonnet to tools away, would have been quicker if I didn't have those pesky light guards. 2005 Td5 90 XS Steve |

^^^^ I did this mod a couple of weeks ago. Ironically, the cheap fuse holder supplied in the kit melted after its first use... I've never had any problem with the original light switch but thought I'd better be safe and fit the upgrade kit.
What a waste of time... Cheers Simon |

I bought the Boomslang one from Paddocks which incidentally was out of stock at the time but a lady from Paddocks phoned me to ask if I still wanted to place the order, which I did.
Paddocks kept me informed by text right up to the point of delivery, nice one Paddocks Have just been out for a quick test flight and I must say there is no real difference in the light output but that wasn't the point of the exercise, I was just trying to stop the switch burning out (probably doesn't help running 100 watt bulbs). 2005 Td5 90 XS Steve |
