After an incident that damaged my back door involving a rather large pole I smashed my back door straight(ish) today and then proceeded to spray my member black

Nearly got drove into by a K reg 90 in a lane, I stopped he didn't and nearly bumper to bumper by about 2" away.
Even though we both had HD bumpers. ![]() |

Proved the point that a defender with decent tyres is, for reasons not explainable by science, the best 4x4 around...
Dad and I were trying to get through some deeply rutted, sloped mud. He put his 200 series cruiser into mud mode, raised the hydraulic suspension, locked the centre diff etc and got stuck, My defender just skipped through ![]() Not put pics of my sawtooths etc up but had a busy couple of days! Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Planned to bring car to garage to install new clutch ... didn't start ... opened hood ... bloody rat chewed about 1 -1.5" out of the wring loom and munched on the fuel return line ... spend a couple of hours splicing wires. Took some time to unplug the connectors so I had access. Bleeding
![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge Tomorrow have to search for some fuel hose and clamps to patch the chewed up part so I'm not stuck. Not a happy camper ... |

Completed making the spare wheel cover for the inside of my 90 and fastened the 'shackle-box' and sub-woofer to the wheel arch too.
I know peeps will say that accessing the wheel will be a pain in the wotsit when fully loaded but, believe me, not half as much a pain as when trying to hitch/unhitch trailers with the wheel hanging on the back door. Recovery rope, air line, wheel brace and jack all stowed under the cover too which hinges on the bulkhead and keeps everything protected as well as neat and tidy. ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge |
