United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Barolo Black
Had my first off roading adventure in the Tdi

Went along with some friends on a pre-arranged guided day with 4X4 Adventures

Must say it was a great day and well organised, our guides had a great selection of routes and took us on a real mix of everything from flat green fields to deep rutted lanes with literally the width and height of a defender to drive through

I spent ten minutes driving around the local lanes after it went dark so I could do a final check on my headlight alignment after fitting new Wipacs, Phillips bulbs, stainless fittings from Bolt-on-Bits and a set of 'proper' adjusting screws from Brendan at 4x4 Overlanders. Top job. Well pleased.

This was after spending most of the afternoon on the concrete floor under the vehicle changing the rear diff seal. We'll see in the morning when I open the garage door whether I've fitted it correctly!

I am going tackle the clean up tomorrow hopefully.

Kids want it left looking like that!!

Thanks for the offer I saw it in the events but not sure I can get the time free

I am however looking at ways round my work commitments.

Hopefully I should be able to make it. MY2015 110 Urban Truck Expedition Spec

Had three jobs todo on the Land Rover..
Fix an electrical connection that kept falling off.
Fit a new brake light switch..
Change the rubber mounts that the air filter housing sits on as they had all broken.
All jobs done with out issue or braking anything else in the process
Result....

Bought a pre-painted rear wheel arch spat to replace to one I cracked on a branch two years ago.

Having fitted my nice new HD bumper, I decided I didn't want the rusty A-bar back on with the big Wipac lamps, so decided to go for a 'stealthier' look in terms of extra lighting.

I'd have liked some proper quality Laser ST-4s, but can't justify the cost at the moment and don't want them being stolen, so shall see how these Chinese jobs last!
