yesterday dropped the 110 into Chris @ CSK for full soundproofing and also a DEFENDER badge while its in there.
Chris' new place is coming on really well and the work he's doing remains top notch from what i saw. Means I have to be without the 110 for a week or so though excited to see the results though Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

I had a chirping serpentine belt, so replaced the belt - only to find that the tensioner spring had got a bit weak. I bought a new tensioner and fitted it today. What a difference! All I can hear now is that lovely TD5 sound.
Was out for a test drive, and it occurred to me that with all the bits I've replaced, the longer I own my 90, the newer it gets!! Jon. |

"The Longer you keep it, The Newer it gets" - You should send that to Landrover for their next marketing campaign

Used it and got a few waves from other Landy drivers! But spent a few minutes chasing spiders out of it when i got home. Damn things keep finding their way back in.

I've been wiring up extra spots on the roofrack and general tidy up. Found a whole load of spiders and earwigs that have set up residence after getting in last sunday when doing some tight scratchy greenlanes.

^ I guess you'll have your 90 pictured in LRO mag soon then?!
Greased the rear prop (front doesn't have nipples?!), and adjusted up the handbrake. Not today, but on a Bala Adventure Drive last Sunday... ^^ Pete, when I asked my dealer the first time to grease the propshafts during maintenance job, they called me back and said that one of the grease nipples on the front propshaft was missing. But they ordered it from LR and were able to just install it on the propshaft where it was supposed to have been from new. Thereafter were able to properly grease it. So worth asking about this too I guess.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Mine have grease nipples but in the very center, not as per normal between two rollers. Great.
