Good good, is that not the max stage before physical mods are required?

Yeah there's stage 1 which is 'Eco'

Stage 2 which is a more standard remap

And then stage 3 which comes with a turbo boost box/fuel additives etc which I didn't fancy.

Stage 2 is perfect, how it should have come IMO Cheers, David

finally dealt with the undersealing of the 110.

Tried with waxoyl and the genuine sprayer but it was a pile of Censored to be honest. So ran out of stuff without really getting much covered as most fell off or ended up in really thick bits or on my head Big Cry

So as i didn't have time/access to dinitrol i used the hammerite underseal stuff with added waxoyl. came in a 2.5L tin and its sort of half black paint and half waxy, and its 100x better. Used a brush at first and then used my fingers to push it into the trickier places!

much better job and looks better than Censored yellow waxy stuff IMO!

also completed the last couple of coats on the rear crossmember using hammerite metal paint before the above.

Some pics (under car ones didn't come out great as getting dark sorry):

then put the tow bar back together and cleaned off some excess and now leave it to dry while i go away on holiday for a week!

overall pleased with the days work!

Not updated this thread in a while, so here's some pics of as it is now.

Got my sawtooths & General grabber AT2's fitted, VERY impressed. We have some deeply muddy & rutted tracks around our house and they just crawl though easily. Been comparing to dads land cruiser with all the bells & whistles, but not as good tyres, and that really can only get through most bits by sheer power and often ends up digging a whole.

Was getting dark at this point but shows how nicely they fill out the arches.

And a few the other morning...

Yeah the first time I did a half a job.

This time I sanded, acid etch primed and then used hammerite rustproof paint. Only been 3/4mths but still looks perfect. Seems to do the job v well.

I'd say it seems to be more about the prep than the paint. Cheers, David

Finally got round to sorting a proper permanent location for my CB aerial & wiring it through to the cab.

Wiring comes through to the battery box:

Had a great play around a new track we're building in some pretty nasty peaty mud.

However overconfidence lead to a chance to test out the new hand winch which is a great piece of kit, pulled myself out of some really nasty mud up a hill with not too much trouble:
