I'll check it but presumably if there was a problem wouldn't there be a problem with the speedo?

It's got to be double figures....
I've had no trouble with the valve caps or gear knob. |

What about the fly by wire pedal? Do you have water leaking in and down to the pedal as moisture may be present until it is dispersed by using it a little? I only ask as this seems to be something you have not had issues with before 90 & Wolf

Pretty i'm safe on the water / pedal issue as I had the leaks sorted in the early days......
Either that or the pedal problem is being masked by other problems Will have a look and give it a squirt of contact cleaner for good measure anyway. |

I thought you are going to have some experienced expert help with all these illusive issues Wayne, you are going to put yourself into an early grave worrying and eternally bouncing from one potential 'what if' issue or another. Steve.

Someone has kindly offered to have a wee look in a few weeks....
Re the early grave as daft as it sounds I think you're right...... things like this really get to me (I know it's only a lump of metal at the end of the day but it's just the way I am) ... Just drained the fuel filter again and I struggle to believe the amount of crud is acceptable.....i need to try and flush tank and replace fuel filter a few times and see if that helps.?? I've had the event blanked and I'm confident now that the egr wasn't a problem previously. I have faith......the problem WILL get sorted......its just a matter of time Forgive my poor memory but I believe you were moving a little time back.... hopefully all went well? have a good weekend MOG. |

Hi, I have had similar issues with a faulty clutch switch, It would be worth checking it. Check it is working with a multimeter.

Bw - will take photo of crud later (off on 8.5 mile run in minute)
Shaggy - I have suspected clutch switch before now and have disconnected it which made a big difference and as such made me think it was ok......that said and I know this sounds ridiculous..... lunch pedal squeaks but sometimes when it doesn't things seem to work well - I had put it down to nothing more than the placebo effect??? Will try and get someone to help me with the multi meter. Thanks. |
