I've got my LED spots exactly where you were thinking of putting yours- on the bumper. Think they look good, and it gives you an easy route for cabling (through bumper)

I do like the look of those small LED's, how good a light do they give off. I have been having this dilemma for a while now, I would like to fit a reasonable set of spot lights (not hundreds upon hundreds of pounds, I want a remap first), I am not keen however to fit them directly to the bumper. I like the look of the low spot light bar but I am led to believe that you cannot fit them if you have AC (grill sticks out to far). I thought about a normal metal A bar but yet again I was put off this idea as I read they were not legal any more. Where does everybody else fit there spot lights, the roof is not an option either. errm, im not going to lie and say tonnes but they're enough for what i wanted them for. they tidy up some of the dark spots on my high beam and look good. i didn't want tonnes of light because i wanted to use them with my highs on roads so to light up the road ahead like daytime wasn't the objective. they were only cheap though, around Ł30 each... I fitted Truck-lite phase 7 LED Headlights today. What a difference from the standard candle-in-jam-jar lights I had before! Photo's to follow later on the Truck-lite group buy thread. Zermatt Silver 2.4 (with Alive stage 1 remap) TDCi 110 Double Cab Pick Up

With a help of a mate we removed the roof rack off the 110 and then this afternoon I started taking it apart ready for a trip to the blasters for a cleaning prior to it getting powder coated. Also measured up for some brackets to get welded on for some spot lights. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Took rear HD+2" lift springs out and replaced them with TDCI utility springs.
The Bearmach ones were looking a bit tried. Worryingly only after 2 years Click image to enlarge Not sure yet but seems less harsh and more bouncy so will see. Going to do the fronts soon if I decide I like the change. Also, is it ok to leave +2" shocks on? I have some take off standard ones so can swap it over easily enough but until I'm decided is it going to have any adverse effects? |

So do I! Sport is a cracking vehicle, but the Defender gets it hands down from me. An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |
