Great bike the Yamaha. You must have been sorry to see the Busa go? Come on, get rid of the belly and back onto the legend.

yes did like the busa , but it had only done few miles in last 3 years since little un came along and just wanted a bike to jump on and nip somewhere nice and comfortable , sports bike are ok if you ride them a bit but found not riding for ages then go for a blast ended with back aching wrists aching . and not really interested in going for long rides as little un has to stay at home and she don't like that .

she likes defender best ,up high looking about

Took the kids swimming and riding, then the dog for a walk, windows open all day. Picked up a great big rug donated by a friend and brought it home.

My two year old doesn't have many words, but one of them is Defender Smile 2009 110 XS Station Wagon

Took rear HD+2" lift springs out and replaced them with TDCI utility springs.

Not sure yet but seems less harsh and more bouncy so will see.

Going to do the fronts soon if I decide I like the change.

Also, is it ok to leave +2" shocks on? I have some take off standard ones so can swap it over easily enough but until I'm decided is it going to have any adverse effects?

On my to do list! I've got a set of standard tdci take offs to replace my hd +2" springs! Way to harsh and don't need the lift!!
I went for station wagon rears though as I think they are slightly softer than the utility ones! My 109 thread

Today I replaced the crappy Splitapart radius arm bushes that were breaking up 5 months after fitting. If they had made them out of white rubber then at least they might serve more purpose as a pencil eraser. I even ended up putting the old rubbers back on the chassis fixing end as I spied them in "The pile that will be chucked but kept for now as they might be usefull one day."

At least I haven't got the steering wheel wobble at 40mph+ nor the knocking from the front when parking Thumbs Up

I tensioned my winch rope... Fitted last weekend. Zeon 12. Seems good thus far.

I'm not the ugly one in the drivers seat, he's operating the brake as reward for letting me use his farm yard and oak tree!

Cheers Dom...

Drove the 700ish miles back from our week away skiing in Switzerland.

The only thing that faltered the whole way home was the squishy pink thing behind the wheel who started getting tired between Dover and home. ===================================

Replaced the rubber/felt channels on both side windows.
Took about half an hour per side, wonder why I waited so long with rattling and leaking windows Shocked
Did not take the windows out, just removed the old felt, cleaned the channels, and inserted the new rubbber felt lined channel.

Finally fitted the dual battery gauge, one of those jobs that was easy to do, just required a bit of planning.
