Hello LR90XS2011,
Designed to do a similar job, however I cannot see it doing as good a job. Plus the Provent regulates crankcase pressure plus has a huge prv in the lid to prevent crankcase over pressure in case of a problem. It uses the cyclone effect too and also filters what is not cycloned out, the 300tdi filter does not do this. Don't forget the 300tdi filter is designed for a lower powered engine, provent is good for up to 250kw so still well within its limits even with a remap. They are expensive but are a quality part with many features, nice and simple though I can't see it ever going wrong just a filter change when needed and if you forget this the lid prv will prevent over pressure. Bit of a long shot but if you have any more fall by the wayside or if Rusty and LR don't complete, then I'd be pleased to buy one. 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop Now a 2013 110 USW too. |

Anyone know of a UK distributor for these (Steve, where did you source them)?
Bearing in mind the speed with which these were snapped up, I wonder if there would be any reasonable prospect of a group buy. |
