Done a few bits recently (many mentioned in other threads etc) but, to summarise and keep this thread up to date:

Parrot asteroid double din did get fitted:

6LED spot lights fitted, think they look pretty smart:

Job for the weekend; relay headlights & apply convoluted tubing and fuses where necessary to the wiring in the engine bay to sure everything up electrics-wise. No burned out switches/stalks for me!

Wipac Crystals would look nice on there I think. Thumbs Up Really is a worthwhile mod with upgrade bulbs for a reasonable cost. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Yeah I've got a relay to fit too, didn't get round to it this weekend. Prefer to finish one job at a time otherwise I have a mental breakdown! Do they 'look' much different? Cheers, David

These are mine:

Genuine Wipac Crystals from paddocks and Philips extreme bulbs.
I can get you some links if you want?
I think they look a lot nicer, cleaner looking too.
Biggest advantage is they are polycarbonate lenses too not glass, so less likely to get stonechip damage.
I have and others have had their OE lights smashed before, in my case glass lenses spots a few years ago. (Hence my change to polycarb Roo's for spots too) $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Yeah I found them available from a few suppliers and site sponsors etc. already have the Philips +20% bulbs which are better and the relay should improve even more. Some crystals and probably stainless steel bezels will be in order soon I think.

Cheers for the tip Thumbs Up Cheers, David

Your welcome, and yeah the SS bezels I forgot about those! I have those too they are well worth it.
Haven't done the relay set up though, is there any gains noticeable to be had except the switch preservation? $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Apparently it reduces voltage drop (although how much I'm not sure) and whitens the light a little. Supposedly voltage increases from around 12 and a bit to 13.5-13.8 as it should be with alternator running, but for me it's mostly to protect switch im doing it. Cheers, David

That makes sense. Try and get some photos up when fitted if you can. Wink $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Now CSK Remapped
Drove a 400 mile round trip today to get a remap and a few little bits from Chris at CSK.

Wasn't sure what to expect but Chris was a pleasure to deal with, had a good chat and look around the place and most importantly the car drives beautifully now, pulls like a train in the higher gears and no juddering in the lower ones. Throttle response is sharper and the car 'kangaroos' much less. Well pleased!

Strongly recommend it, how the 2.4 should have lest the factory. And a very reasonable price too compared to the competition.

Thanks a bunch, Chris! Thumbs Up Cheers, David
