Mine is already at least 15 or more years old I think, bought it back in New York at the time for a multiple of that price. I think it is very good quality, hardened steel, hardened lock, the only thing of course is that if they really want, they can cut the steering wheel to remove it. You never actually own a Defender. In requesting "photos of any of the various pedal locks actually fitted to recent Defenders" - you should be aware that the Adrenalin product differs depending upon your definition of "recent". Is it the 2012, 2013 or 2014 model year that you are interested in? |

Ahhh...didn't realise that!
It'd be the 2014. Which I suspect makes it less likely anyone has a picture to hand. |

Well its very dark in this part of the world, the flood waters are rising, there's a howling gale blowing, the gutters can't cope with the rain, which is of biblical proportions ......... so unless you are claiming this is a life or death situation?

Click image to enlarge To be honest , I think the adrenalin is a better fit , the one Luke has , is a modified unit. The shire which I have does not fit as well to the puma 13 with ac . The guy from shire I sent 4 piccys but did not get any further replies. Cannot blame him as I cba to follow it up with a trip to Nottingham ish . Don't get me wrong if they get mine with , safety pedal , tracker , disklok , obd disable , alarm , bonnet lock, ball Bearing hinges . I give up |

As Lukev01's photo shows - the Adrenalin model is a really neat fit on the 2014 model year Defender - Lukev01 may have a modified version but I have a production model for 2014 on my Defender and it doesn't look much different. But I will caution you that it is also a heavy piece of kit, for lifting in and out of the footwell. Drop it and you will likely do some damage to yourself or the vehicle trim. With a little practice it can be fitted and removed in seconds - important when you have the driver's door open and the wind and rain are doing their best to attack you and a bus is squeezing past. You also have the question of where to store it whilst driving around - which usually means manhandling it into the rear of the vehicle without damaging the trim.
Personally, I looked at all the pedal locks discussed, considered the various comments on this forum and selected Adrenalin. It's a really, really solid piece of kit (well constructed/finished and heavy duty), it's a very neat fit (design detail) for 2014 models and if you give James (Mr Adrenalin himself) a call and mention this forum discount - his price is more than attractive - and his delivery to your front door is very prompt as well. |

What has changed in the 2014 cars? Is there a version for a 2011 with aircon?
