There is a known fault on the handbrake lever. The wire to the switch runs over the fulcrum and can rub on the arm. This can wear through and earth the circuit, which will cause the handbrake light to be on all the time. If this is what is happening to yours, then take off the rubber cover and wrap the wire with a bit of tape.

Bit of a thread revival but where can I get an new switch from also is it the same as a ford switch they look very similar?

My light is intermittent so was thinking switch, will take the gaiter off and have a look when I get a moment! Adventure isn't paved! |
