Completed a 500 mile round trip to Scotland to trailer another defender home.
No issues all the way At twelve years old, and 124K on the clock, it makes you realise the longevity of the defender |

Air pusher - Not surprised you got stuck with those tyres in. They're rubbish.
You wants MT's or AT's at the least. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

Custom90steve, your not the first to say that!
I was spinning all four wheels like slicks at one point! A Suzuki vitara pulled me out! Oh the shame lol I'm on the look out for 17" Predators with 265 MT or similar. I don't think my driving helped as I was surrounded by 4x4 built just to play! So I was a bit cautious!! Cheers 2006 Defender Double Cab- Zambezi Silver |

Oh your not the only one, when I had them I got stuck in the middle of a field with no kit but some grass and sticks. A couple of years ago.
From then on never again did I want those tyres. The KM2's go and go what ever. Just drive sensible in the wet especially winter. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |

Yeah first time properly off road like that! Bit of a shock!
Thats the BF Goodrich KM2's? Someone else mentioned BF's to me too. Just trying to figure out all the offsets for wheels! My steering lock as its about as good as a supertanker now so I don't want it any worse! Cheers 2006 Defender Double Cab- Zambezi Silver |

4 yr service and MOT. Thankfully no suprises and no advisories.
I was a tad concerned as this is the first MOT since the auto conversion, RDX lights and reversing light super bright LED bulb. All good and just the service staff asking loads of questions about the auto box. BM52 |

Not strictly today, but in the last week....:
New Terrafirma steering guard fitted. Replaced the injector harness (going ok but getting oil at the red plug) Replaced MAF sensor Fitted new lock barrels all round (the passenger door lock never worked since I got it, but all sorted now). Freed up the turbo wastegate (again!) And today: Found a nasty mud trap behind the rear indicators. I removed the indicators, hosed the area clean, and after a few days to dry thoroughly, will give it a nice dose of waxoyl. Jon. |

Found a fuel leak from the filter! Cleaned it all up and got a little bit of extra turn on the filter itself so I'm hoping that was the only problem. I'll be keeping an eye on it for the next couple of weeks but I can't understand why my defender insists on throwing all it's diesel away I think that's the fifth time I've had diesel leaks since I've owned it
