The 90 went in for some work to ready it for winter so I drove the 110 to work this morning.
The smell of leather and heated seats was all too much. so im leaving early to go the long way around and enjoy it some more. |

Changed the diffs and transfer box oil today. It's always a nice feeling to see the old grubby oil come out, and pump the nice clean stuff in.......is that a bit sad ?

Took out the dash to try and discover why the gauge illumination has nor worked since I bought the car. Fuses OK, other lights fine, so I assumed it was either the switch or one of these mysterious hard-to-find gremlins that keep us busy. Pleasantly surprised to find that all six bulbs were blown, and hoping that the previous owner just lived with gradually reducing light rather than another problem causing them all to go at once. Will try to find replacements next week and hope for the best!

Got the stealer to sort out the 13 pin electrics that had 12v and fridge feeds DOA. Turned out to be a bad earth connection. Put the BAS Remaps ECU back on
Fitted the MUDSTUFF glove box and GMB bonnet hinges. It got a wash by the good lady as well |

Thanks jimbob7. Those may well come in useful. Three months in Norway and my conversation is at about the level of of a toddler. It is amazing how much English people here speak, but part numbers will help to prevent me coming home with half a dozen LED headlight conversions or whatever other misunderstandings could arise! |

Took the 110 to the jet wash at the local garage. Two basic jet washes and a full on one later the car looks much better....Plenty of mud left at the jet wash... 1999 Defender TD5 110
