Chased down the oik that thought that running into me and driving off was acceptable. Bloomin's london mini-cabbey goit.
And says it wasnlt him - obviously my eyes, the CCTV and the ma-hussive gause in his side are all collectivly wrong. Only the threat of calling the Police for failing to provide details got him to cough them up. Call to his insureres on the morrow. Major Grrrrr!! |

I went and gave mine an oil and filter change. Just about done 6000 miles since the last so it's having a birthday! Must admit I did have a bit of a nudge as over the last couple of days it has been getting a pig to start, diesel starvation which I think is due to the non-return valve sticking or maybe the air valve. As I was going to have to change the filter I just went on and did the rest while I was at it, much more pleasurable whilst it's dry when doing things outside.
The diesel problem seems to have sorted itself, I think that by disturbing the filter and allowing the valves to "relax" lets them re-seat themselves, a bit far fetched but I do believe in the Land Rover Self Healing Fairy I was surprised to find that the air filter was noticebly damp when I took it out, I do have a RAI but I would be the first to admit that it is not fit for deep water wading. I was out greenlaning last Sunday, I did have to go through some deep water, short wade through bonnet deep water so that's where the damp will have come from. There was quite a collection of leaves sucked in from the tight hedges so with a new filter in the thing should go well now |

Collected mine from CSK having it Dinitoled plus got Chris to Dynamat the doors whilst he had the cards removed.
Excellent workmanship and definitely recommend him should you want it done. _______________________________ Puma Defender 90 |

Just had it in for its 60K service at 20K miles. It went ok bar they mechs swapping out my recently fitted "triblade" wipers for oems without asking and trying to charge for the privilege ,report was they were smearing, checked on way home and they are fine and far less smeary than the new wipers on her indoors motor. If it wasn't for the other service option being Cr@p stones who tightened the wheel nuts up so tight I bent the oem wheelbrace, a 1/2" drive tommy bar and twisted the 1/2" drive bar on my torque wrench (now relegated to a wanging bar) trying to undo them I'd think about reviewing my service options :/.
I suppose wipers are small beer in the big scheme of things , but its the little things that keep you happy. 2023 110 P400e |

Went to the rescue of SWMBO , she got a puncture whilst out in her French thing and with 2 GSD's wasn't an option to swap it herself. So off with the 4x4 trolley jack and I couldn't get it under her car . Had to jack hers up slightly with the little car jack , seriously I'm not making it up. Had to dismantle the dog cages to access the tools, I know there were tools in mine but her spare wheel is lowered from inside the rear and under all the cage boot liner etc..... anyway while she maintained control of two I swapped it over. _______________________________
