Had a run around the muddy plains with a few other forum members, gave my 110 a good clean when I got back.

Finished the install of Focal speakers all round. Thanks to Custom90Steve for his knowledge and help. Huge improvement on the standard set up.

Went to do a complimentary half day land rover experience at peckforton castle (Tarporley, Cheshire)
Was great fun, chose a 2.2 110 since I drove a RRTDV8 last time so to get some comparison. They've just finished building their quarry play area a few months ago which was good, amazing what slopes even a 110 will do. Going up damp 45 deg slopes with no accelerator on standard tyres and then back down again. Unfortunately was too damp to try and balance the car on the tipping bridge. Got a couple of photos but not great. Can highly reccomend it.
Most land rover dealers if you find someone nice enough can give you a free half day pass. I got 2 and didn't even buy a car but I think different dealers/staff have different attitudes to giving them away. Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |
