We have three Defenders on our drive.
Red 110 fitted with standard LR headlights plus Lightforce lights.
Black 110 fitted with JW Speaker 8700 plus Lazer lamps.
White 90 fitted with just Nolden 7" LED headlights.
Barbara does not like driving at night time these days but will drive the white 90 just fitted with the Noldens.
Personally we have not yet tried the Trucklites so we can not comment from personal experience on their light output.
So our personal experience is yes the Nolden headlights are vastly superior to standard headlights in both dim and main beam mode.

To add to what Brendan wrote, I have Truck-Lite 27270C headlights in my landy. I can't find the installation papers so I can't give any numbers for lumens but to be honest, numbers on a sheet of paper don't really mean much as to sitting behind the wheel at night with these headlights. There is a vast difference with light color and light spread on the road.
A few comparison pictures of the LED headlights vers the Philips VisionPlus H4 lights.

These headlights really shine with it's spread of the visible light to the sides, they really do light up the ditch.
As Brendan stated earlier, he likes the Noldens. Myself I like the Truck-lite headlights. I'm sure the next guy will come along and will prefer Speakers. What we all have in common is that we can agree that LED headlights are a vast improvement over the original headlights.
