For my earth feed I did the same into one switch, out to the next etc. I used 16amp thin wall, because I had it lying around. Same with the side light power feed. 1999 Defender TD5 110

is the earth to the switch just for the light in the switch not the earth for what its switching

It's just for the switch, the actual accessories have earth cables. For example the rear work light has an earth cable which I'll run from the roof through the inside and attach somewhere at the rear of the vehicle. 2007 (57) Defender 90 (Sold)

I used insulated spade crimp connectors, and then into the first connector I ran the earth wire that goes to earth and added a 2nd cable that goes into the same connector then comes out of that into the 2nd crimp connector and then another cable that goes to the 3rd connector and so on. So basically, In-Out-In-Out-In etc. until the last earth. Does that make sense? 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
