davidwhittaker's black 110 Utility Wagon & ongoing mods
So im new to this forum, despite stealing some ideas from it previously for my Defender (you all seem an ingenious bunch!)

So i thought id introduce myself and my landy...

Ive had 3 so far (only been driving for a year haha - im just 1Cool a '93 200tdi 90 (blue) and a '08 2.4 90 (also blue) but my current pride and joy (and sometimes PITA) is my '10 2.4 tdci XS Utility Wagon.

Its done 53k now and still under warranty and generally in pretty good nick Smile

PICS:

Here it is as it is now

Parrot asteroid, AMP under seat, uprated speakers and 6x9s in the rear complete the ICE setup:

(USB, iPod, 3.5mm come through into storage tray thing)

Outside: Steering guard, DRLs, lamp guards, LED driving lamps light up the night, switches in mud puma pod to control them

Also have a RaceChip +30BHP chip installed (dont tell Guy Salmon!)

More things to come in the future:
-TGE trim panels
-Noisekiller soundproofing kit (is there a better alternative?)
-ball & jaw tow hitch

If i had the money:
- Xtech wheels
- +2'' lift
- 2-din fascia & parrot asteroid smart 2-din HU

Getting silly now:
- Auto box w/ paddle shift
- 3.2tdci engine

Looking good David, and welcome! You'll be needing the rust treatment if you're going to go playing in the sea! Laughing 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Basically, yes. I've used Bilt Hamber Dynax S50 cavity wax and that comes with a tube similar to what you describe - has a 360 nozzle on the end. Great pics! Thumbs Up 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

I'll have a look in halfords then or make my own.

Btw I can't recommend that stonechip/waxoyl combo stuff enough for high impact areas Cheers, David

The DRLs were a cheap ebay hobbit, seem ok but not expecting loads of life out of them.

The 6" LED Bars were from ebay too, sold by many different sellers (from China I think) - cost me £90 for the pair, and they're damn bright! I've got them wired through my high beams (with a switch too) and they make it like driving a range rover at night, even white light everywhere! (Not great range though but standard high beams are enough to give that bit extra you need) Cheers, David

Worth looking into. Without accruing it it won't get much cheaper over time.

Just notice the 88" in the background in the laning photos, excellent to see the old boys keeping up Smile
