Have a look on their web site, there were full instructions in PDF format.
I had one on my td5, easy to use, can read and reset faults, change settings on alarm, abs etc. nice units. |

Ah.....still getting to grips with the Nanocom, found these other errors, given i dont have aircon (1998) do i need to do anything, is it just a reporting error?, the gearbox fault worries me though ? Although i doubt I have ABS fitted on a 1998?
NANOCOM - TD5ENG.APP - TD5 ENGINE fault file (10,1) AIR CONDITIONING FAN DRIVE OPEN LOAD, (LOGGED). (10,4) GEARBOX / ABS DRIVE OPEN LOAD, (LOGGED). (14,5) AIR CONDITIONING CLUTCH DRIVE OPEN LOAD, (CURRENT). Many Thanks JD 2008 TDCi 2.4 XS CSW |

Is the new one like my old one where you need codes to go into further modes?
It seems like a silly system to me, like buying a house and only being given the keys to one of the doors, why not just allow all functions to work ![]() Andy |

Hi Andy
Unfortunately yes......I got 2 codes, codes 1 and 2 which is for defender and ABS I think? It's rather odd, just want to make more money I guess? JD 2008 TDCi 2.4 XS CSW |

Can you switch units in the nanocom, the speed is either misreading, or is in Kilometres?

The speedo on my nanocom never seems to correlate to the dash speedo, although I think it just reads the pulses from the transducer, as opposed to converting to "speed"

But doesnt that give you the idea on how to calibrate your nanocom, i.e. big tyre/7.5 tyre and also 1000 revs = 1mile. I take it these notes are for the later nanocom evo and not the original nanocom 1
