Wired in my Day Light Running Lights with out blowing up the wagon ... and they actually work!!
Thats got to be a first for me as I always manage to blow at least one fuse normally!! (last time was when changing an interior light bulb!) Mind you - I did the job 3 times as I thought that I had bypassed the on/off unit as the lights stayed on after I tuned off the ignition ..... only after looking at the how to do it notes for the 3rd time did I see the little phrase ..'lights stays on for about a min after turning off so as you can see down the garden path' ...!!' fab bit of kit !! Hi William Brill! Well done to you sir! Mine stay on all the time, but dim when the side lights come on so as not to dazzle - but as I've got large LR spots I kinda think that having the lights full on main beam are probably not needed ... Mind you they are looking at doing fog lights in the same style so may go for them next as we live on in the cost and have more than our share of pea soup! Collected and fitted a 1x2m sheet of ally treadplate to my roof rack, much more useable now, just got radius the corners before I cut myself.

Replaced rubber trim on the back door....no longer let's the rain in and doesn't flap about whilst driving.
Tempted to do front doors next as they seem to leak more than they stop but isn't that part of the character. Defender 90 - Tomb Raider LE Discovery 5 HSE - yes, even despite the ugly backend. Range Rover 4.2SC - Gone and still being missed |
