I liked the headlining too..a lovely job.
Your car looked "interesting", so I had a look at your gallery, and just have to say, what a great Defender you own. Grill, Lights in Bumper, interior guages, radio etc all beautifully integrated. Looks like it has a very proud owner. What sort of headlights are they?
Well done on a very nice Defender.
Cheers from Aus, Pickles.

Thought you didn't have time to do a trailer?

Bit of a project.. Found a wide track - too nice to miss

Went to longleat in 110, dropped off #3 child at scout camp, then collected BMW from body shop (not the girlie store)

@yobbie - headlining looks awesome

Thanks Pickles Thumbs Up It's a Heritage edition (suppose to look a little like a series, the silver/grey parts replicating galvanised parts & full green Shocked leather) The headlights are J W Speakers Led ones still not sure about the looks but great performance.

Well, I've certainly been busy today..
First job was to reinforce the area on the rear tub where the gas strut attaches. (After the bracket was ripped off last week due to the metal being a bit "ropey").

One piece of 3mm Chequer Plate on the inside, then a strip of 3mm Chequer plate on the outside behind where the strut bracket attaches. So 3mm plate, original tub metal, then 3mm plate. Think that's strong enough!

Then I fitted a MUD Stuff rear door trim that I bought a while back..
Took about 2 hours(ish), and was a little bit fiddly at times. Needed trimming back in some places, but other than that it went alright. Great finish and very well made. Definitely recommended.

Moved the rubber matting back to clear up, and then found that the dirt/dust inside had been pressed down by the mat and formed the LR logo Laughing (It made me chuckle anyway)

Fitted a "sense of adventure" glove box to the 110, well made, good price and great service.

Cleaned up and fitted a nato hitch, sat in a bucket of diesel for a couple of days, almost fell apart, all cleaned up and rebuilt and fitted.

I put on some modulars after taking off my Twisted Performance alloys and then gave them a clean. The 110 was then dropped off at M.I.D Engineering to have some issues looked at - rear shocks, bushes, earthing fault and warped manifold Sad Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful!

Thanks. But now I either need to adjust the lock stops again, or fit spacers. Not sure which is best as if I adjust the stops any further I'll only be able to drive in straight lines! Shocked

Just had a look at the sense of adventure website, good price for the glove box, how do you find the quality and ease of fitting? 2.2 2012 110 utility Orkney Grey
