Fitted a "sense of adventure" glove box to the 110, well made, good price and great service.

Cleaned up and fitted a nato hitch, sat in a bucket of diesel for a couple of days, almost fell apart, all cleaned up and rebuilt and fitted.

Just had a look at the sense of adventure website, good price for the glove box, how do you find the quality and ease of fitting?

Took 10 mins to fit & looks like it was there from the factory, and easy enough to remove and fit to the next one with out leaving any scars

Took Betty to the wilds of Southend to pick up the Patriot rack from TACK aka Tony ... nice guy and good chat about stuff ... rubbish run back - took 2 hours to get to Lakeside M25 junc from Southend as A13 restricted for bridge works but no signs up anywhere Sad

Well, I've certainly been busy today..
First job was to reinforce the area on the rear tub where the gas strut attaches. (After the bracket was ripped off last week due to the metal being a bit "ropey").

Been thinking of doing the same. My tub needs the same reinforcement too. Where was the gas strut from and bracket? Other than that I was thinking of getting a leather strap like off an old car.

I got mine from MUD Stuff a while back, but only just got round to fitting it. They don't actually sell the one for pre 2002 doors any more, but they do sell this one for post 2002 doors. Link
4x4 Overlander (Site sponsor here, username: leeds), sell the correct one for the pre 2002 doors, and at a very good price. Nakatanenga Pre 2002 Door Stay

Then I fitted a MUD Stuff rear door trim that I bought a while back..
Took about 2 hours(ish), and was a little bit fiddly at times. Needed trimming back in some places, but other than that it went alright. Great finish and very well made. Definitely recommended.

Ive been hovering over the 'buy' button on that rear door trim for months, was going to get one this month but Ive splashed out on new tyres Very Happy . But when fitting them I discovered I need new discs. And pads. Sad Sad :blub:

Just gone over 25000 miles.
Had 8500 on the clock when I bought it so 28500 is next, then 33500 (my mileage of 25k).

Got round to finally fitting the DB adjustable towbar to the 110. Had to weld up some brackets onto the tank guard, as it was in the way for the lower bracing arms to reach up to the chassis rails.

seems pretty sturdy now.
