Can't believe the difference that we all pay
I have just insured 09 csw 110 with esure. £151.00 Prior to the landy I had a Porsche cayenne turbo that was £257.00 through admiral Both were fully comp and I have full no claims, with an essex post code and am an old git It pays to shop around search engine compare site are good, it does not pay to be loyal anymore. When getting a quote think about how you describe your trade some jobs are loaded Think about mileage limiting will bring cost down as will adding the wife on the policy. Don't pay for add ons if you don't kneed them. |

Not a price I would be happy paying. Shop around and if you use a comparison website, always try the insurer's own website directly as it may be even more of a saving. I ended up choosing an internet only insurer (Quote-Me-Happy, backed by Aviva - one of Britain's largest insurers) so I felt secure about it and the price was fantastic.
Declared all the mods, other drivers etc but if I get the usual shocking premium increase after one year I will shop around and gladly switch again without worry. |

On the whole which would be considered cheaper for a policy, business use or personal use? Obviously for business use you'd have to have a legitimate business to have a policy for it use but then again quite a few of us do anyway. It'd also be interesting to know what annual mileage most of us do. I do as a rule under 10k a year. âï¸âï¸God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 âï¸âï¸

I pay about £550 for a 2008 110 xs in Devon its with the NFU. I went with them because its automatic cover when off road. Some of the main companies wont cover you on anything other than tarmac. I guess its a question of reading the small print.
I have been inspired to give my local NFU agents a hard time and see if I can drive down the price. Road tax is due next month and my wallets is already screaming |

try being 20 and insured on a puma... currently at 2800 a year but have found it cheaper, when i return from work will be changing to a multi car policy and getting insured on our series or the audi a4, wont even quote me for the other car.
that's my policy with parents as named drivers, they never drive it but gets the price down... have it in writing from the insurers, any external modifications are included as long as it doesn't alter the vehicles performance. so a bar bigger wheels etc covered. |
