Well I thought it was behind the clocks so I've been taking them in and out for a couple of weeks cable tieing every plug down tight but when I shut the drivers door last night I noticed the bonnet rattle. So today off came the bonnet and I found the seam sealer that ties the skin to the frame had split so the two halves could rattle together Rolling Eyes I also replaced the plastic bits in the hinges because they were a little worn letting the back of the bonnet lift slightly so as a precaution I put some on as they were only a fiver. Test drive showed no more rattle and I'm one happy camper Mr. Green

Censored , I was hoping you might have found a rattle like mine that's underneath, sounds just like a loose nut and bolt with a washer rattling away. Just cannot trace it, can't find any loose bits, no sign of shiny metal in all the mud under there. I'm going to have to find it soon as it get's quite distracting with the windows open Rolling Eyes

its not the Turbo heat shield is it ..? I've not had this but understand that it can rattle a fair bit and is quite noisy - being somewhat deaf has some benifits!!! Cool
