^^^^ Is that in a 90 or a 110? Very difficult to fit?

in a 110, but fits both.Easy really. It mounts at top using screws for grab handles. You don't have to re-fit them.
If you don't have the handles already fitted then there is a bit of drilling to do. The bottom is fitted with two brackets to the tie down ring bolts.

It's been a busy day today. Firstly, met Jeremy - nice to meet you, Jeremy Thumbs Up - and waved good bye to my old Sankey trailer (see his post on the last page). Then I swapped all of the wheelarches on my 110 for some black ones that I picked up from eBay a little while ago:

I'm really pleased with the result but they were a sod to do. Those little plastic rivet things are a nightmare.

Then finally, I used my new Sankey trailer for the first time in anger to take a load of garden rubbish to the tip. I stopped off on the way back to take some piccies (as you do Whistle ):

I've ordered a hard plastic defender wheel cover for the spare and collected new windscreen hinges / brackets to spray myself so the paint doesn't flake off. Rolling with laughter

Finished plumbing in the auxiliary fuel tank and wiring up the changeover valve. Works really well, can now change from the main to aux tank via the switch on the dash, engine doesn't miss a beat.

What type of tank have you fitted Dave?
how big, where and how long did it take?

I've moved all the crap from under the driver's seat and installed a "normal" 300TDi tank under there. Fitting the tank and the filler pipe/cap took a few days - partly because the tank guard I got and the sill bars weren't compatible so I had to cut and weld the tank guard which meant fitting, marking, removing, refitting etc...

Moving all the electrics out from under then seat took a few days too Smile

Lots of details on the aux fuel tank and the supplementary tank fitting available here...
http://landytravels.com/

We've now got around 32 gallons capacity in total with around 90 litres in the main tank and supplementary tank and then 55 litres in the auxiliary tank under the seat. http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/

Changed the engine oil this weekend and fitted Samco Turbo hoses and Alive EGR removal kit.

EGR was clean, but the inside of the hoses was oily....

Anyone knows if it takes time for the ECU to recognize the EGR has disappeared?

Afterwards I started the engine but it died after a few seconds. Shocked

The battery was low so I connected the second battery and tried to start, after turning the starter motor for half a minute it finally started. No problems since so I hope it was is because of the low battery. Martin

Looks great. Are they the standard unpainted gloss black arches? They are are a bit awkward to do arent they. After replacing mine I watched one fly off on the M18. Fortunately I managed to retrieve it undamaged but I ended up throwing the plastic clips and replacing them with stainless bolts/nuts.

These ones are painted gloss black. I nearly resorted to putting some self tappers through the centre of the plastic rivets instead of the little plastic rod, but didn't have any of the right size to hand so had to persevere instead Evil or Very Mad Darren
