Need to do a little bit of fiddling soon with my Sub / sub box set up. I always knew I'd have to make it 100% sealed. So I will have to fit inside a way of keeping my existing cubby with opening lid but also seal the sub in AND get the internal air volume correct. Going to see if I can squeeze in 0.75 Cu3 FT. for maximum bass and lowest frequency.. Also going to add 50% Polyfill to trick the Sub into thinking it's in a larger enclosure than it really is. As it is with the Sub not being designed for free air use nor being sealed turn it up any good volume and the cubby lid will start hopping.

Stu - Talking for F-G Here (hope he doesn't mind) I think you'll find that it's probably a drilled hole. Anyone that has the Nak glove box could do the same also. Only reason I personally don't keep mine in that area is because it's on display and I don't like having to keep taking it out every 5 secs.

Stu - I see what you mean now. Easier access for a passenger there too. If you have any trouble with your fitting of the the new HU you know who to come to / ask. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

Depends on the what is on the new unit, but very likely that they are both the same.
The only bit that maybe different is the aerial connection, but there are converters readily available on Ebay or Halfords for a few pounds |

Martin - Thank-you.
Stu - Should be a straight fit mate fitting wise of the HU. You might need a single DIN fitting cage though. As I mentioned in previous post your more than welcome to pop over to mine if you like and I can show you / do it for you. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
