Evening All,
My 110 XS Utility on a 61 plate so not even a year old and has just covered only 8,000 miles and is displaying the chatter at idle in neutral, whilst coasting up to junctions and roundabouts, also I swear I can now hear it whilst driving, so I guess the springs are shot and on the way out I will need to contact my dealer me thinks from reading all the previous posts. |

I have read about the handbrake adjustment, though from cold it runs fine, I travel 20 miles to work and always by the time I arrive it is chattering and klak klak klaking like a good one, seems to clonk more changing in low gears since this happened, or maybe its just me being paranoid |

Well it is worth checking out, mine clatters even when cold. A trip to the dealer should do it. I myself have just driven the 50 mile round trip to our dealers so the senior technician could confirm my clutch is goosed. I am now waitng for them to say if I have to pay for it or not. Hopefully get an answer by the end of play today.

Dam, picked wrong year (2007, 0) should have been 2008, 0. Tempting fate, but almost 50k miles so far.

2008 110 and four new clutches and 1 new box.Felt all the tell tale signs yet again last month and this time the warranty was out so it was goodbye landy
Theres more to life than spending it in the dealers or arguing with LRUK with their constant denials of an obvious problem |

That's exactly what I am doing now. I am at the point of giving up and doing it myself. What really gets me is that they know that both the phase 1 and 2 clutches are made of cheese yet still will not admit there is any issue with them. |

Ouch!!! do not remember me to make photo ...... I' do not pay attentions on the producer/maker.....sorry.... The photos do not show how bad was the heads of the springs..... The new one (glossy one) have the inner little spring with different diameters (I mean the spring wire, not the whole spring diameter), two bigger than the others.
