Many people retrofit a BBUS, it helps overcome one well-known vulnerability. A 61-plate vehicle may have one anyway, but if not you won't have the necessary wiring and you'll need the n/s wing harness off a Td5.
Do NOT fit your BBUS in the standard factory location, whatever you do, since this location can be accessed without activating the alarm and the BBUS can then be disabled. |

Thanks for the reply. Am I correct in thinking that if it’s just the wing harness I need then all the wiring is in place as far as the grey multi plug on the bulkhead? If so does anyone know the pin numbers for the BBUS wires in that plug?

You are correct, and yes I do. I imagine however that this is what you have already received from Dorsetsmith. |

Rather than using a new front wing loom you can cut the end off a BBUS relocation loom and get the little spade connectors to wire the relocation loom directly into the blanked off pins in the grey multi plug.
"Sumitomo 090(2.3mm) Male Contact 0.3-1.25mm" These from automotiveconnectors.com were 16p each and did the trick nicely |
