Just outside Woolacombe.
I noticed on the way in that Devon 4x4 are located on the road between here and the M5, so I feel a little trip out next week Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Put the roof tent up in the drive, awning and all. Still very impressed.
Went shopping for some new 'camp kitchen' items. Came home with slotted spoon, serving spoon, egg/fish slice, serving tongs, cheese grater and a sieve. Came home, put the bedding in. Sooooo comfy, could have taken an afternoon nap up there! Dave also put the wiring in for the ARB Fridge. Nicely cool now, perfect for beers..... After a late friday night camping with some LR owners on the plains, had a busy saturday.
this arrived then BigRuss and I removed the fuel tank on the 110, fitted the webasto fuel pickup pipe, and refitted the tank. Click image to enlarge Big thanks for BigRuss and Cobs (who lent me the fuel sender re-fitting tool for the torque wrench), I'll pop it in the post tomorrow. Completing the webasto install should be straightfoward now. Also helped BR with some adjustments on his Shiney truck. and finally a thanks to Zag for the boxes and "extras" ... top man ! |

Cool - looks very smart
I was going to put a lock on mine a few months back but after some discussion on this forum I decided not to (even after buying suitable Thule locks). The argument was between how flimsy the locked (advertised) glove box would be if attacked vs a thief not noticing there was a glove box there in the first place. As mine is almost invisible and I'm basically a lazy ... Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
