Mine arrived fitted but has now blown 2 10a fuses before it even lights will try another one tomorrow on spare battery fingers crossed It's good to be back from the dark side

Me too. I solved it by putting a piece of insulation tape over the backing plate between the two contacts. It's permanently live and I found I was shorting it out with the bulb fitting Darren

It looks the same as the 1.99 ones on e-bay inc connectors and TBH they are like poo

I think that it looks a bit more substantial than the £1.99 ebay units. It certainly ought to be at 10 times the cost, after all you could blow 10 ebay units before you reached the cost of this unit.
I'll be most interested to hear any reports from people who fit this unit. |
