Get 4 boards so 96 front and back. They look crap with just 48 in each light holder... Current:D4 HSE Gone: BMW Z4MC Gone: Defender TD5 90 CSW Previous: Discovery TD5 ES (Gone) |

The light switching on doesn't trigger the alarm, it is the 12v door switch that does by going to ground. |

Isn't the alarm triggered by the presence of the earth connection at the door switch, rather than by the current draw on the lighting circuit? If so it will make no difference. |

Otherwise if both the bulbs blew or you turned the lights off the alarm wouldn't work...

Can anyone who has fitted the 37mm bulb type fitting with the 6 LEDs on the bulb, rather than on a separate board comment on how the light lense looks.
I don't like the way 48 LEDs look in the lense. With the 6 LEDs set onto the bulb holder, can each individual LED be seen or does it give more of a glow like the original bulb, hopefully obviously brighter. I was thinking of going for these: http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/37mm-leds-festo...-1494.html I obviously want to make sure these are right so any comments are welcome... Hi,
Just a word of warning. When I bought these, I had them delivered to work - the delivery was very prompt. They were well packed - the only issue being that the external packing tape was clearly marked "banggood" - the girl on reception gave me a very funny look The LEDs work really well. Haha I will be delivering mine to work too... Can you see each individual LED on the 37mm bulb or is it a bright glow through the light lense?? Current:D4 HSE Gone: BMW Z4MC Gone: Defender TD5 90 CSW Previous: Discovery TD5 ES (Gone) |

No you can't really. The lens diffuses the light well enough so it doesn't really notice, not unless you get quite close to it. You certainly won't notice it during normal use. Pete |
